Associate Editor Brian Armbruster resides in the Atwater Village area of the city, just a stones throw from the mighty Los Angeles River.  He hopes to some day travel in outer space.

Brian Baltin is a writer, graphic designer, DJ, and photo and film archivist born and currently based in Los Angeles. His writing has appeared in the periodicals Index, Level, the LA Weekly, Interview, Dirt, and Straight to Hell, as well as on the web server CDNow.com. From 1992 to 1996, he published and art directed the periodicals Intent to Kill and Atomizer, and is currently operating under the moniker Liquidator Graphics. His art direction credits include the Amok Journal and the forthcoming Alejandro Jodorowsky Reader. He has read his porn and other fiction in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco, and co-founded the Long Beach club Room 802, dedicated to the finest in Brazilian and Afro-Cuban jazz, bossa nova, batucada, jazz, and Afro-derived house, which tenure yielded three CD comps.

Kelly Marie Martin is a musician slash artist who lives at the House of Gold on La Mirada with her cats, Screeechy and Smokes.   She has lived in the City of Angels for five years. (ed.note-- Kelly rocks. Check out her band's website: featherearly.com)

Karen Reitzel received her M.F.A. from the University of California Irvine in 1992. She is a painter/mixed media/digital artist who works and lives in Los Angeles. This year she has shown her work as part of the Cultural Initiatives program at the Warner Catalog Group, in the Tricky exhibition at At the Brewery Project in downtown Los Angeles, and in the Art in Motion kinetic art group show in Long Beach. Past exhibitions include the Arroyo Art Collective’s Without Alarm series, and the Echo Park Artists’ Festival bus bench program.

She was Chair of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Art Resources from 2/98 to 8/99 and has operated and curated several art exhibition series including Lemoyne Kennels and the While U Wait series of art shows at the Hollywood DMV. All exhibitions have embraced a wide focus on a variety of media and themes by underrepresented Los Angeles artists. As an artist and curator, Reitzel is most interested in programs dedicated to expanding the art and audience relationship beyond conventional boundaries

Editors Allyson Shaw and Michael Row live in Long Beach with their cat Dora. Allyson is a writer and web designer. Her poetry and fiction have been published widely in paper and cyberspace. Her sestina project can be found here. She's Associate Poetry Editor at the Del Sol Review and currently teaches writing at Long Beach City College. Michael is a budding social worker who spends way too much of his time exploring half-forgotten musics and worrying about what he'll wear out dancing.

Born and raised in Southern California, Robert Wells is currently attending Long Beach City College. He spent 7 years in the Navy from ’82-’89 during which time he got to see the world. He also developed a severe love affair with alcohol, photography and life. He is pursuing all of these now along with his newfound love of English. His current passion is night and time-lapse photography. He finds that it gives him time to think about what it is that he's shooting-- and get a drink!
